Terms of Service

chobolab.dev is the portfolio and contact site of Ivan Chobotiuk (Chobotiuk Ivan), a freelance software developer based in Goleniow, Poland.

The site presents information about my services and lets you reach out about a project. It does not, by itself, create a contract for any work.

I offer development services such as automation, SaaS products, web applications, bots, and integrations. The exact scope, deliverables, timeline, and price of any engagement are agreed separately in writing before work begins.

Nothing on this site is a binding offer or a guarantee of availability.

You agree not to misuse the site — for example, by attempting to disrupt it, submitting unlawful content through the contact form, or sending spam or automated submissions.

Information on the site is provided for general informational purposes and may change without notice.

The site's design, text, code, and visual assets are owned by me unless stated otherwise, and may not be copied or reused without permission.

Ownership and licensing of any work delivered to a client is governed by the separate agreement for that engagement.

Fees, payment schedule, and deliverables for each project are agreed in writing before work begins.

Unless agreed otherwise, project payments are made in PLN, EUR, USD, or UAH via bank transfer (or another method confirmed in writing before work starts).

Standard payment schedule: 40% upfront to reserve the slot and start work, 30% after the agreed midpoint demo/milestone, and 30% before final handover. Invoices are payable within 7 calendar days. Late payment may pause further work until the balance is settled.

The site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, I'm not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site.

This clause does not limit liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

These terms are governed by the laws of Poland, and any disputes are subject to the competent courts of Poland, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections.

Project communications are treated as confidential. If you want to use a pseudonym or minimal contact details in day-to-day work, ask before we start — I will accommodate this where legally and practically possible.

Contracts, invoices, and certain payment methods may still require your legal name and other identifying data under Polish, EU, or tax law.
